Difficult to find and seemingly assembled from spare parts, Live Songs is the shabby orphan in Leonard Cohen's catalog. It is also one of his most thrilling releases. Culled from a series of 1972 concerts except for Tonight Will Be Fine from the Isle of Wight festival, the album consists of compositions from 1969's Songs From a Room and a handful of otherwise unavailable material. Cohen Live is a live album by Leonard Cohen released in 1994. The songs were recorded live in 1988 on the I'm Your Man Tour and in 1993 on The Future World Tour. Several of the songs have altered lyrics, which are printed in the liner notes as sung. This was Cohen's first live release since Live Songs in 1973. All songs written by Leonard Cohen, except where noted. Cohen's songs, both old and new, sounded deeper, richer, and more important than ever, as this sampling demonstrates. Suzanne 1967.
