It's only ending 12. to Nonetity This album is a cycle of 12 songs with many musical references to the history of rock music, as well as that of traditional and classical music, while lyrically, the personal and social narrative is often poetic in mood. It is about someone who travelled from the not too distant future in order to enlighten and warn us of times to come. Music that goes places. It was originally released in 1968 by EMI Parlophone in the U. in a black and white sleeve. A slightly different version of the album was also released in the U. in 1968 as Sire Records SES 97012, one of the first releases on that label. Although it was not a success when it was first released, it is now widely regarded as one of the best psychedelic rock albums ever made. Indeed, given that Take Warning are working entirely within the parameters of a musical style that was first mapped out over a quarter century ago with the first wave of Dischord bands, it's a wonder the casual listener can tell much of a difference between Leaving Here Tomorrow and any number of other similarly appealing but forgettable EPs.
