Timewind is the fifth album by Klaus Schulze. It was originally released in 1975, and in 2006 was the twenty-second Schulze album reissued by Revisited Records. It is Schulze's first solo album to use a sequencer. For many years this was his only work available in the United States and was therefore rated higher by American listeners than 1977's Mirage or X of the following year. It was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque Grand Prize for Records of L'Académie Charles Cros. Klaus Schulze: Timewind 1975. Moondawn - The Original Master. Evolving slowly but deliberately over the course of each album side, Timewind has been deemed an electronic version of an Indian raga. It resembles in many ways a longer variation of the third track from Tangerine Dream's classic 1974 album Phaedra, Movements of a Visionary, but it remains a transitional work somewhere between the Krautrock of Schulze's earlier output and the Berlin School character of his following . Klaus Schulze: все альбомы, включая Next of Kin Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack , Timbres of Ice , Trance 4 Motion и другие. The first 30 minutes involves icy pulsations and lengthy tonal flights that unnoticeably converge into each other. While one rhythm gains momentum, the other one slowly fades into a bubbly electronic bath of bright swirls and meandering keyboard waves. Album 1975 2 Songs. Klaus Schulze. Electronic , Schulze's Timewind is the 70s electronic equivalent of a Wagnerian epic - set on planet Nibiru. So many ideas, so many soundscapes. Themes, motifs, what have you, and it is all from one man. Klaus Schulze at his finest takes the listener on a journey. The listener feels as if he is floating through space, although it is a different space where humans can breathe and roam free. i felt that this album needed a review. i will likely review more schulze in the future, as well as 70s ambientelectronic in general. Hovse October 15th 2016. Klaus Schulze Format: Audio CD. Please retry. Schulze puts out an epic remaster. Not only is the original album here, you get another sequenced album on disc 2 that should keep everyone busy for a lot longer. The good news is that the extra album is actually very decent. It's not Timewind, but few albums are, and it's glorious to hear this record remastered in stunning sound and clarity. Highest recommendation for electronic audio fans. Read more
