"Forever" is based on "Solveig's Song", written by Edward Grieg for his Peer Gynt Suites.
"Don't You Cry" is dedicated to Thomas Youngblood Sr., who died when his son was very young.

There is silence from the end of "Fall From Grace" to 11:01. This is because Karma was Kamelot's fifth studio album and they wanted its duration to be 55:55.

Recording information: Recorded at Gate Studio, Wolfsburg, Germany & Pathway Sound Studios, Wolfsburg December 2000 - March 2001. A scan of the song titles Wings of Despair, The Light I Shine on You, Temples of Gold further suggests Kamelot's wholehearted embrace of the dramatic expect lots of references to destiny, mountains, and immortals. Fans of symphonic metal groups like Helloween, Dream Theater, and Yngwie Malmsteen will find few surprises on the quasi-conceptual Karma - which doesn't add any new wrinkles to the genre - but they will appreciate the meticulous performances of the band. Yeah, I think it was essential for the band to have these two masterminds, Youngblood who was more the traditional metal guy I think and Khan who was a bit more out there, having a bit of a classical background, being a fan of all kinds of music and literature I might be wrong about this, but it was probably his idea to. make a Faust-based concept album, at least I know he's a big fan of the original. Fourth Legacy was more that kind of stuff you'd expect from a band called Kamelot, then they evolved, and definitely to the better, yes. Scoob November. Their next album is Epica.
