All the music in this collection was recorded pretty much around the same time starting in early 2008. By 2010 all the tracks were complete. I had dreams about making this a three CD set and calling it "Clam Radio". The title derived from the eclectic radio show Susan DeVita and I host bi-weekly on WUSB 90.1 FM, Stony Brook, NY. I felt the continuity between the songs musically and lyrically were very obvious and the summation of all my work up to this point made for a great ending to another musical chapter. Unfortunately, there were certain limitations to putting out multiple discs in regards to the rules of the digital retailers. Details became very convoluted, and costly, so I opted for making separate CDs of this material. This was the first of three. The other two being "Gaga Over The S.O.P" and "Artifacts For The Dubious Cloud".
"Patience, my boy" was recorded at my cheap home studio in Stony Brook, NY. Some collaborations with singer songwriter Susan DeVita are evident here. In fact, her CD "Something Good" was recorded around the same time as these pieces at my studio and thus a lot of continuity can be found between my work and hers.
