Tray card is different from other releases and has the barcode in a different location with different text which contains the website and email for Triple-X records at the time this pressing was released. The graphic logo for Triple X records also is also used on the spine instead of having 'TRIPLE X RECORDS' written out.

Jane's Addiction is the eponymous live album by Jane's Addiction, released on May 15, 1987. Its basic tracks were recorded live at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on January 26, 1987, with additional overdubs and corrections recorded at The Edge Studio in Los Angeles. An audience applause dub from a Los Lobos concert was overlaid onto the final mix. The basic tracks were recorded live over a single night in Los Angeles, with additional in-studio recording and overdubs done later. Several songs would. Between Janes two sets, the band performed several songs that do not appear on this album. This is also the only known professional Janes Addiction release that has engravings on vinyl pressings.
