Zyniam
Varied in compositions which is always a good thing as so many artist stick to a formulated structure throughout a release. Murray has a penchant for melodious statements without force feeding and engraving it into your psyche a talent in itself. There's dynamics and well placed use of various percussion into the mix as well as tasteful dab of string arrangements(which I imagine is electronic in nature) which add a nod towards a more cinematic hierarchy. Admittedly I have never heard of this musician prior to this release but from the creative soil here I am sure he will bear wonderful musical fruit. Like all music a listen by one person is subjective to another's but being a musician myself and having a ingrained respect for the use of melody and structure in electronic/ambient music I found this release to be head and shoulders above some of the music that many pass on as legendary. A release that needs to time to breathe like a fine bottle of wine!

I find this to be one of Ultimaes weakest releases. Not to say it isn't a good album, I just feel it lacks a certain depth in atmosphere. The tracks are melodic but inoffensive and seam to just scrape the surface of a foreign soundscape, without ever fully immersing themselves.

'Eleven' is a cool track

This album is so underrated which is very sad. I consider this one of the best Ultimae releases (!). The sound here is so delicate, it makes you feel like you are part of a fairytale. Music, suitable for rainy days, dreaming of landscapes you are not sure exist. Just hear the beginning of Track 4 - Gaijin and tell me if it doesnt transport you somewhere else. Majestic!

The album is definitely worth it.
