Jaguares is a Grammy and Latin Grammy winning Mexican alternative rock band formed by former Caifanes lead singer Saúl Hernández, after that band's break-up in 1995, because of personal differences with the Guitarist Alejandro Marcovich. He started the band along with former Caifanes co-member Alfonso André drums and two long time friends Federico Fong bass guitar and José Manuel Aguilera lead guitar. Soon after the release of their first album, El Equilibrio de los Jaguares, José Manuel dropped out of the band and Federico Fong took a break from the band, relatedly, as read more. The album was created by Saúl Hernández and Alfonso André in collaboration with Howard Willing. Recorded in Los Angeles and Mexico in June and produced in Nashville by Dave Thoenes. Entre Tus Jardines, is the first single released. The album's title, 45, refers to the approximately 45 million of people in Mexico who live in poverty. It is almost half of the country's population.
