Welcome To Wherever You Are - INXS. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth album by the Australian rock band INXS, which was released on 3 August 1992. With grunge and alternative music breaking into the mainstream, INXS tried to establish a new direction for itself, incorporating sitars, a 60-piece orchestra, and a much more raw sound to their music. In its four star review of the album, Q called it . a far more engaging and heartfelt collection than anything the group has put out in recent memory. It rocks, and listed it. Andrew Farriss. Album 1992 12 Songs. No one benefited more from this change of scenery than INXS, who were looking for the next step after Kick and X. Producer Mark Opitz, whod worked with the group on their third album, Shabooh Shoobah, helped the band immensely here, giving them a tougher sound that didnt sacrifice the synths or the dance-rock elements. Communication is simply a blazing track that dries out the bands sound in spots and puts Michael Hutchences vocals through some smart effects. Sitars and a 60-piece orchestra find their way into the mix of Baby Dont Cry, forcing the band to fight for their space. Songs in album INXS - Welcome To Wherever You Are 1992. INXS - Questions. INXS - Heaven Sent. INXS - Communcation. Although INXS needed to experiment badly, their attempt at self-reinvention, Welcome to Wherever You Are, didn't even come close to gaining commercial or critical acceptance. From the start of the album, it's clear that INXS are out to confuse the standard perceptions of the band the first instrument on the album is an Eastern-flavored horn. Special recording effects and exotic rhythms and sounds are abundant on the album. Listen free to INXS Welcome To Wherever You Are Questions, Heaven Sent and more. 12 tracks 45:08.
