Album

We Can't Trust the Insekt. The first album from the collaboration between Klinik and Vomito Negro. Even with huge IndustrialEBM names like these two the end result is disappointing. Like the parent bands, Insekt also focuses heavily on monotony and bleak soundscapes rather than dancey energy, but this album unfortunately sounds like they could not decide if they wanted to go all the way into the dark monotonous sound or not. Many of the songs end up sounding like half finished dance tracks that are missing the pop hook that would make them work. Listen free to Insekt We Can't Trust the Insect Combat Zone, Love Bites and more. 10 tracks 37:54. The members of the band were Nancy Jeffries on vocals, Bill Barth on guitar, Luke Faust, formerly of the Holy Modal Rounders, on guitar, banjo, fiddle, and harmonica, Trevor Koehler on saxophone, and Robert Palmer 19451997 on clarinet and alto saxophone. Elvin Jones and Bernard Purdie both drummed with the group at times. Bill Folwell, who had played with Albert Ayler and later an original member. Album starts at BPM, ends at BPM 0, with tempos within the -BPM range. Try refreshing the page if dots are missing. Tracklist We Can't Trust the Insect. Combat Zone. Few of the songs, like Combat-Zone, Brute Force and We Can't Trust show some promise, but the rest are pretty bad, especially track Love Bites with its embarassing snarled vocals (You want sex with me!). Overall the vocals don't really work here. The singer really sounds like he's forcing the words out while desperately trying to sound evil.

Skip this and get the brilliant second album STRESS instead....
