Tracks 1 to 5 recorded in 1967; 6 to 14 in 1968; and tracks 15 to 23 in 1969. All tracks recorded at Lakeshore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigian, except track 15 recorded live at Wayne State University, Detroit in 1969, and track 18 recorded live at the Grosse Pointe Country Club in 1968.
Remastered in Los Angeles, California in 1995.

Album

The Anthology of American Folk Music is a six-album compilation released in 1952 by Folkways Records catalogue FP 251, FP 252, and FP 253, comprising eighty-four American folk, blues and country music recordings that were originally issued from 1926 to 1933. Experimental film maker Harry Smith compiled the music from his personal collection of 78 rpm records.
