UNFORGETTABLE!!! The only reason why it wasn't THE tune of the 20th century cos it slid into the 21st.

By this day and age, Virton has cemented its status as a long lasting and evergreen tune throughout the world of electronic music. Techno sounds on a constantly building trance tip, the original is THE track to spiral your entire frame into the adjacent galaxy. Almost a nine minute ride through an endless cosmos of melody driven passages and dreamy, floating techno arrangements. The way in which it just builds and sucks you in like a dry sponge, until it's satisfied, and then it goes for that one final take off - Virton is a number I have heard crush just about anything from retro trance parties to four to the floor mechanical and harder techno orientated events. Be on the look out, this is a timeless classic, which sounds just as amazing and captivating in your bedroom as it does in a club.
Liebing's remix is faithful to the original, as it's constructed around the same theme, but as stated before, it tends to sound like a remix of a track you'd expect hearing circa 2001 on CLR. Basically, Liebing takes the catchy lead, changing (and intensifying) the percussion, while adding juice to the bass department.
My fellow reviewers weren't kidding when they said this ranked up there with Rachmad's finest work. Coming from a producer who is responsible for the Sterac project, and countless other outputs under many aliases, to those familiar with the techno scene, that should be saying something. And the fact I already completely wore out a copy of "Virton" might give a hint about just how good this really is.

One of my favourite techno songs ever and in my opinion best track Steve Rachmad produced to date. Of course I'm talking about original mix.
Chris Liebing's remix is very good too because it's follows the feeling of the original mix but it's more build-up themed and original mix has a constant drive. However both tracks are masterpieces and came from very good year for techno culture (2001).

If you like this sound I also recommend a very similar track from Agoria. It's name is Agoria - Hold Up.

Tension building melodic track, typical elektro/techno sound of Steve Rachmad, one of my all time favorites, and comes in handy when you can't find the track on the kozzmozz compilation release anymore.
The Liebing remix is more like the original, with faster build-up, and a more pumping bassline, works on the hardtechno loving crowd.
