Discoverd during an hot summer in Mediterranean sea, Maurizio Aghemo gave us several tapes recorded between 1989 and 1998. Quality of tapes was not great, some recordings were so ruined that it was not possible to recover them. He claimed that he had also some DAT, but we were not able to find them in the clutter of his studio and we decided to choose the most interesting tracks without intervening on the original master. He was a member of U.C.O. (Universal Condition Orchestra), a world music band active in the late 70's and then he formed during the 1987 an electronic music duo with the percussionist Sergio Zamborlini (aka Zambo). A mix of cosmic rock, hypnotic and minimal music. Vinyl collector and painter, currently owns a small art gallery in Stromboli where he exposes his work and is still producing experimental music.
