He also has an upcoming trio album to be released this spring, a video from the recording session featured on Hole N is known from his work with Tord Gustavsen trio, Karl Seglem and Eple Trio. As a bassist he represents an innovative approach to his instrument strongly influenced by Norwegian folk music. In 2018 he released his first albums as a leader, the solo dobule bass album Elvesang and trio album Encounters.
