I suppose it is, but only if you consider much of Phillip Glass choral pieces in that vein as well. ARCHE definitely echoes Glass's fondness for minimalisim, but I find it more atmospheric and moody in Weiss's composition. Except for a somewhat annoying section in part 2 this piece is consistant in presenting a mood of an urban landscape on a stormy day. The cover represents the feeling perfectly.
