Northern Ireland indie band Guided 's one and only single. This track was recorded at John O'Neill's Blast Furnace studios in Derry by Mik & Kwa in November 2001 as part of the 'Energy Fields V - Saturday Night Manoeuvres' CD compilation, promoting and encouraging young bands from rural and small urban areas in Northern Ireland. This track also appeared on the 'Belfest 2002' compilation, Guided 's second album 'Little Light' 2002, and was released as a single by No Dancing records in 2004 catalogue number STOP006. The video was animated. Hailing from South London, Pistols Drawn At Dawn consists of production and dj duo Phaze 100 and Joey Mayfair. Whilst attending the same Secondary school, the pair immersed themselves in the heart of the prevailing UK House & garage scene. The album was recorded from 1997 to 1998. This is the first album that Velasquez ventured into soul and R&B music coming from her previous Asian-pop appeal. It was executively produced by Mark J. Feist of the MJF Company and co-produced by Viva Records. The album is distributed in the Philippines by Viva Music Group. Mark J. Feist also arranged all the tracks, wrote & co-wrote five songs. Her last solo album, 2013's self-released Goldenheart, portrayed a love affair in the language of battle and war, while 2012's Armor On channeled it through religious devotion. The album's opening run seems purposefully designed to scare away less adventurous listeners with rushing synth runs, jungle breaks, and sharply-cut vocal samples. Dawn doesn't even come in for three minutes on Calypso, and once she does, she's nearly taken in by the tide anyways.
