This piece of art starts with a brief guitar intro, completely sounding out of this world, before blasting into melodic melodies at it's best. There are two types of moods to be found on this album, the dark, sinister, gloomy ones with the more primitive riffs and the dark melodic riffs, which create a kind of melancholic vibe. The melodic pieces are extremely beautiful and sinister, so if you find beauty in total darkness and have a soul that crave for darkness, then this will definitely embrace you. These two kind of moods accomplice each other extremely well, the dark and gloomy primitive riffs have that effect that when the melodic pieces comes, you can not do anything else that be overpowered and embraced by them, and this makes this album a really emotional journey towards the darkest parts of your inner self. Which is something I think a good Black Metal album should be able to do, Black Metal is not something that is supposed to make you happy, this genre is not for fun as too many ignorant people think, who only wants to get enjoyment out of this genre, if people feel that way, then they should go on and listen to Power Metal insted, or ridiculous masturbating hyper technical Death Metal.

The vocals are another thing that will make sure that you will not find yourself comfortable while listening to this release, they are aggressive, morbid and out of this world, you can really sense the hatred and disgust Sir. N feels, which gives them a really evil and perfect touch and helps making the atmosphere of this album stand out. They have a pretty raw feeling which fit perfectly to the more clean production of the music itself.

As a bonus you gets the song "Den ondes frälsning", where the "Djävulens Boning" album itself has a very clean production, this track is a lot more raw, but not raw in a bad way, everything is audiable and all instruments can be heard. The vocals sounds like they do on the album, and again they fit the music perfect. This track is really fantastic, and I think it was very wise to include it on this release, insted of letting it away to obscurity. Also this track is the perfect closer for this album, the ending piece of this track is so out of this world that you can not imagine it, that is simply something that has to be experienced.

I recommend this album to people, that find beauty in darkness and the most sinister parts of their inner self. If you crave for the world downfall and total bleakness, then grap this one before it is to late, you will never regret it.
