Album

Multi-instrumentalist Andreas Niegl Given Willingly provides Timetheory with another splendid album, this one exploring more noise and soundscape territory. The cinematic approach continues from the last album, and screens a different sort of movie than before, in this one, the scenes are more graphic and explicit, like the inner thoughts of a Burroughs-read, elegant loner amidst modern society. Andreas' music should be enjoyed more like a book or movie is enjoyed. This release is a natural sequel to Little Lights in the Masses, and is just as enjoyable if you sit back and l. Given Willingly is the project of Andreas Niegl, and is a sort of one-man free soundjazz band, and the music blends elements of turntablism, post-rock, ambient, noisedrone and psychedelic jazz. The track titles evoke images of movie scenes, with a distinct feeling of being transported throughout. View wiki. Finn Nicolas A surprising departure from the bands first album. Joyce Manor's self titled album was a brilliant mix of hardcore and pop-punk, this sophomore album tones down the hardcore elements and focuses more on the pop side. There are even some songs that step even further away from the bands original sound, like the Smiths-esque Bride of Usher or the solo, acoustic, lo-fi numbers, Drainage and I'm Always Tired. At least as good as, and possibly better than, their first album. The bulk of the album - These Kind of Ice Skates, Comfortable Clothes, See How Tame I Can Be, Violent Inside, the should-be hit single Video Killed the Radio Star that borrows from the Buggles' song of the same name but does something new and thrilling with it - is first-rate power pop that ends abruptly, but perfectly, delivering. exactly the right amount of emotional jolt. Men willingly believe what they wish. Is a quote by Gaius Iulius Caesar. He meant it as he stated it. The actual quote attributed to Julius Caesar is Men are nearly always willing to believe what they wish It means that people, given a choice between hearing good new or bad news would rather hear good news than bad news when in fact, they need to hear the bad news and as a result, make bad decisions. So, maybe one day you'll grow tired of the road and roll on back to me. And when I blink my eyes into the morning, your smile will be the only one I see. Sarah Kay
