It often feels as if Schubert wrote two different scores for each movement - one heroic, dramatic, and loud, and another lyrical, poetic, dreamlike. In Pollini's version the two vie for the listeners attention ot the point of too sharp a contrast. Personally, I would have preferred a more balanced attitude. Nevertheless - I'm sure everybody will enjoy this great music.
