Album

You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore, Vol. 2 is a live album by Frank Zappa. Despite the subtitle 'The Helsinki Concert', the album is not one complete concert, but was, in fact, assembled from two and possibly three different concerts performed in Helsinki in 1974. The working title for this album was The Helsinki Tapes, a title more accurately reflecting the fact that the album was composed of performances from more than one show. Frank Zappa - Cheepnis. In his contract with Ryko, Frank Zappa had to put together 12 CDs worth of live material for the series You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore. The fact that he decided to devote two of them all of Vol. 2 to a Helsinki concert from 1974 illustrates how good and representative he thought it was - and he was right. Посмотреть сведения об участниках альбома, рецензии, композиции и приобрести альбом 1988 CD от You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 2 на the end, You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore Volume 2 is the perfect summation of this era in Zappa's productive career. If you're just getting into the series I think I would recommend this one first as it is the most cohesive of the entire collection being that it is just one concert and not a wild combination of many. You really can't be a Zappa fan and not own this album. Grade: A. The crown jewel of Zappa's You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore series. Whilst the other double-disc sets were grab-bags of recordings from a range of performances, for this release Zappa chose to focus on the tapes from a small set of performances over a couple of days in Helsinki. This two-CD set features the 1973-1974 band Napoleon Murphy Brock, George Duke, Ruth Underwood, Tom Fowler, Chester Thompson near the end of their tour, in a concert in faraway Finland on September 22, 1974 there were actually two concerts performed that day and, as usual, Zapp. Frank Zappa Full Album Pt. One thing Zappa said in issuing this series was that he hoped to dispell myth that the 1966-69 Mothers were the only Zappa band worth hearing. If You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Volume two does not do that, nothing will. Volume Two is unique in that it showcases one concert, one band: the 1973-75 MOI in Helsinki, 1974. I love the jazzy improvosations of the first mothers, the spontainous, classical noddling, and the sixties edge the band had. 2: The Helsinki Concert Live, 2012.
