A Night on the Town is one of a three-album trilogy by Fars, a division of Golgotha Communications. At Timetheory we are especially pleased by music with a soundtrack quality to it, which this release definitely does. The titles are evocative enough to describe the locations and events on this night on the town, but the sounds themselves are enough to prompt free-associative imagination. This is the kind of album that makes you want to play movies along with it to see what might synch up. The release itself is somewhat short, and is the kind of enjoyable that lends itself to playin.
