Album 1965 14 Songs. Concrete And Clay. Eddie Rambeau. Rock 1965. Concrete and Clay is a 1965 hit single recorded by the UK pop group Unit 4 2. It reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart in April 1965. The song was written by group members Tommy Moeller and Brian Parker. Recorded with the help of session musicians and featuring 2 Russ Ballard and Bob Henrit, Concrete and Clay details the indestructible love of the singer and his lover. Sings Concrete and Clay. and Clay was a song written by Tommy Moeller and Brian Parker and recorded by the UK pop band, Unit 4 2. It was covered in America for a Top 40. Nothing here was exactly cutting edge, even from the ranks of poprock crooners of the period, though Rambeau has some pleasing originals interspersed with the cover versions, including Don't Believe Him.
