It is one of the most uncompromising songs he has ever written and it is considered by many to be one of his best songs. Benson Records re-released the original album Forgiven along with Got to Tell Somebody, and put them both on one CD in 1988. That re-release left the song I Don't Care Where You've Been Sleeping off in order to fit both albums on one 70-minute CD.
