The theme for Ted Post's Hang 'Em High 1968. Dominic Frontiere's music from Ted Post's Hang 'em High came out of the cross-currents of Clint Eastwood's early career as a motion picture star. As the score for Eastwood's first domestically produced Western feature, done in the wake of the Sergio Leone Man With No Name trilogy, the makers wanted something similar to Ennio Morricone's music from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Hang 'Em High is a 1968 American DeLuxe Color revisionist Western film directed by Ted Post and written by Leonard Freeman and Mel Goldberg. It stars Clint Eastwood as Jed Cooper, an innocent man who survives a lynching Inger Stevens as a widow who helps him Ed Begley as the leader of the gang that lynched Cooper and Pat Hingle as the judge who hires him as a U. Hang 'Em High was the first production of The Malpaso Company, Eastwood's production company. Dominic Frontiere - Main Title. Dominic Frontiere - Rachel. Dominic Frontiere - Tumbleweed Wagon.
