Ottawa-based Daiquiri escapes all notions of time and space with their cranked-up cheap electropunk noise soup. Sounding sometimes as hard as black metal and sometimes as soft and dandy as a joke, the duo demonstrate here their aversion of music composing. These guys don't write music. They play music, and one can feel they have big huge loads of fun. Box Office Poison include this brilliant electro-rock remix of Missy Elliott's "Get Your Freak On" and just for that track alone, it's well worth the ten bucks. Now, the only wish is that the next time, they'll try even harder.
