Lights from the Valley is the seventh album by the Canadian rock band Chilliwack, released in June 1978 the album marked the recording debut of Brian MacLeod with the band, while serving as the swan song for founding Chilliwack members Glenn Miller and Ross Turney. At the time of the release of Lights from the Valley, Chilliwack had been recording tracks intended for the band's seventh album release over the period of a year. While not my favorite Chilliwack album, Lights From The Valley still gets a lot of play at my house. When I listened to it with good headphones, I longed for a better copy. When Chilliwack released their live album There and Back, Bill Henderson mentioned in the liner notes that this would probably be the last time most of the songs were issued on CD.
