Live To Die was Bride's second album, released in 1988. Better produced than their debut Show No Mercy, the album is quite heavy power metal, with a few really fast numbers thrown in. The guitars, by Steve Osborne and Troy Thompson, are fantastic. Dale Thompson's vocals have a wider range than on Show No Mercy - the proportion of high pitched screaming is lower, though they are still there and his voice is incredibly powerful. Overall, it's a great album, one I still enjoy a quarter of a century later. The one criticism I have is that at nine
