Cottonwoodhill is one of the trippiest records ever made, capturing the intensity of the peak LSD experience far more successfully than any Timothy Leary recording, and even today, when many such documents from that era can sound silly and dated, Brainticket's fascinating debut still holds hallucinogenic potency. The record has only two proper songs, Black Sand and Places of Light, with a side and a half of the album taken up by the three-part Brainticket. Band Name Brainticket. Album Name Cottonwoodhill. This is reissue from end of the 70´s Not "original release"

There are 2 german original versions:- Bellaphon issue on lilac label with stamped BLPS 19019 runout, a flimsy front cover (typical early Bellaphon), manufactured for german market, the pressing might be slightly different from the presented pics.- Hallelujah / Phonag issue with stamped BLPS 19019 runout and a solid front cover, manufactured mainly for swiss market but also delivered for german market in a few quantity. This was pressed in numerous qualitys by Bellaphon `til 1974, Bellaphon label, Hallelujah label, boxed Bellaphon or Gema or even unboxed, lilac logo, white logo, X 606 print or not, stamped runout or not - including the promos there is the same original version recorded without any remastering, overdub or remix.Originals should not have the additional responsability clause printed inside the cover.Cheers
