Bob Babbitt was arguably one of the most in-demand bass players on the planet. His legendary status winds back to his glorious Detroit Motown days where he was part of the famous Funk Brothers. The Funk Brothers provided the backing tracks for everything that came out of Motown records. The catch phrase used to describe them is "they played on more number one hits than the Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones and the Beach Boys combined". Thru Bob’s 50 year career the session musician played on over 200 top 40 hits, spanning various genres of music. Bob released this CD gem which, within a few minutes, will make you see just how talented this man was. He played ‘everything’ on the tracks, along with writing the tunes.
