If You Could See Me Now is a 1946 jazz standard, composed by Tadd Dameron. He wrote it especially for vocalist Sarah Vaughan, a frequent collaborator. Lyrics were written by Carl Sigman and it became one of her signature songs, inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998. Sarah Vaughan's 1946 original recording was released through Musicraft Records. It also appeared on her 1981 album Send in the Clowns with the Count Basie Orchestra. They had one single in the UK Singles Chart, Shooting From My Heart, which entered the chart on 28 January 1989, and reached 61 it was in the chart for two weeks. Tedd later changed his name to Simon Scardanelli. About Big Bam Boo. The half-British, half-Canadian duo Big Bam Boo released only one album, 1987's Fun, Faith, & Fairplay, which featured simple, catchy songwriting delivered with acoustic guitars and plenty of vocal harmonies.
