I agree with LilTheater.

The Dawnseekers remix really should have been given 1st place on the A-Side of this vinyl, instead of being sandwiched at the end as B2.

As much as I totally respect the greatness of both Art Of Trance and Cygnus X, it's Dawnseekers (AKA Photon Project) who really deliver the goods here.

A totally forgotten remix, but one you can find on the 6th 2xCD unmixed compilation from Platipus as well as on a marvellous single-sided 12".

Forget the other mixes, with all due respect it is the Dawnseekers remix that makes this track worthy.

It might be because I heard it first, but in my opinion all the other mixes of "Breathe" pale in comparison to the Dawnseekers remix on this release. The original has a nice uplifting, summery sound but ultimately it feels rather weak and the Cygnus X remix doesn't really improve on it.

The Dawnseekers remix, however, is an absolutely inspired rework of the original into a dark melancholic production with a standout breakdown that uses the vocals in a very different setting, helped along with plenty of atmosphere, some piano and even a dark male choir hidden away in the background. Your average producer would follow the upbeat sound of the original and place the light, airy vocals in a similar setting.. these guys did the exact opposite and it's a marked improvement and one of the best vocal tracks from the early 2000s.
