Rubisa Patrol continued touring through 1983, but after seven years together, the group broke up and no more recordings were forthcoming or released. During this time in the early 80's 1979 - 1983, Lande taught in Seattle at The Cornish College of the Arts & from 1983 - 1987, Art taught in Switzerland, before returning to teach at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Lande, Isham, and Douglass continued their work as leaders, sidemen, & composers on a wide spectrum of recordingsprojects, while Cronkhite has his own gig bag business out of Berkeley, CA.
