A re-release of Annie Lennox's 2014 covers collection, Nostalgia, 2015's Nostalgia: An Evening with Annie Lennox includes both the original studio album and a bonus Blu-Ray of her live PBS concert special. The studio portion of Nostalgia finds the former Eurythmics vocalist soulfully interpreting various pop, jazz, and R&B standards. Similarly, the bonus disc showcases Lennox, backed by a large 19-piece ensemble, performing songs off Nostalgia live on-stage at Los Angeles' historic Orpheum Theatre. In many ways, Nostalgia works as a companion piece to her similarly inventive. Nostalgia is the sixth studio album by Scottish singer-songwriter Annie Lennox. It was released on 30 September 2014 by Island Records. It is Lennox's first album in four years, and her third album of covers. The album consists entirely of cover versions, mainly of compositions from the Great American Songbook originally written in the 1930s two compositions initially date from the 1950s.
