Heist Recordings weigh in with their second EP of 2017 and it’s an absolute corker. This time, Alma Negra bring the heat and they deliver absolute fire on the Amsterdam imprint. Building further on past projects like ‘Midnight Run’, we knew the bongos and afro-beats were going to hit us hard. ‘Afrorleans’ delivers with percussion full of hustle and bustle, while ‘Luanda Dub’ has a Latin feel to it with a lovely strings riff. ‘Endless Summer’ is more upbeat and features a gorgeous bassline under the Hispanic vocals. Soulphiction offers his interpretation to the aforementioned and lays down some heavy, rolling bass for all your peak time needs.

Perfect for: While Alma Negra’s work eases in the summer heat and is expected to be heard at outdoor festival stages, we feel Soulphiction’s rumbling remix will have dancefloors going crazy in the coming weeks.
