All in the Family is an American sitcom television series that was originally broadcast on the CBS television network for nine seasons, from January 12, 1971, to April 8, 1979. The following September, it was continued with the spin-off series Archie Bunker's Place, which picked up where All in the Family had ended and ran for four more seasons through 1983. The stars of All in the Family, and it's two spinoffs, Maude and the Jeffersons would all win Emmies. Carroll O'connor, Jean Stapleton, Rob Reiner and Sally Strothers all won emmies for their work on that show which is a rarity in television, that's only happened a few other times, on Golden Girls, Will and Grace, the Odd Couple when all the leads won an Emmy. Also Isabel Sanford won an Emmy for her work on the Jeffersons, and Bea Arthur won an Emmy for her work on Maude. All in the Family is an American sitcom series that was originally broadcast on the CBS television network from January 12, 1971, to April 8, 1979.
