Ferri - My name

This is one of the overlooked albums from the German trance scene. With Phonogen Michael Schulz from Düsseldorff takes on creating something more layered than Headcleaner, more simple than most progressive, and more complicated than psy! How ?! By doing what Thomasz Balicki managed on his 2nd album; Creating a vibe that you don't notice until you notice you've been away for the last half hour. I name this minimal psygressive. And when Mr Schulz is best at this he's marvelous. Listen to Mdma test and you'll know what I mean.

Well, perhaps I am giving him all the credit his music can take here, and maybe the album didn't hold all this positivity for me the first many couple of times I heard it, but when I finally got caught onto it, I could see what his idea was. Almost too simple, almost too repetitive, almost too insisting. But you can't help being intrigued what's gonna come next ...
