My favorite techno LP. It was so ahead of it's time when first released and it still is. Timeless music. Lush, deep and warm atmospheres combined with Basic Channel inspired drum programming makes for a very immersive listening experience. There isn't a single track that overshadows the rest, nor there is a track that would be called a filler. Every single piece offers something different for the listener, while at the same time keeping the consistency within the record. This is a true techno classic, a masterpiece that's essential to everyone who even remotely associates himself with this genre in one way or another.

This is extraordinary. Utterly amazing album. "Sun" is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of techno ever created. Perfect. "Abrighterday" is almost equally fantastic: intense, timeless and still feels ancient. "Apricot" is a beautiful ambient soundscape that lulls you to sleep. "Strike" is very solemn, the drums are pulsating within a deep ambient soundscape. The spooky, moody tracks "Sniper" and "Themurderpeople" feels misplaced on this album. They are both good but still does not match the supreme quality of the other tracks and does not conform to the mood of the album in my opinion. Still, this album is unparalleled. Even if you are only remotely inmterested in dubby techno and ambient, this is a must-have. Thankyou 154.
